Casablanca-Settat: second regional meeting on climate in electoral programmes

Organised on Thursday 10 September 2026 at the Hôtel Suisse in Casablanca, the meeting brought together political party representatives, environmental associations and networks, civil society actors, experts and public policy specialists.

Discussions covered water security, the energy transition, food sovereignty, protection of natural resources, climate justice, and how to translate these issues into clear political commitments.

This meeting is the second stop in a national process of regional dialogues intended to strengthen the public debate on development choices ahead of the elections.

The Alliance stresses that climate can no longer be treated as an additional sector: it is a parameter that structures all public policy.
