Biodiversity 2035: national meetings bring civil society together around the national strategy

The meetings concluded a journey that ran from regional consultations across the Kingdom’s twelve regions to national dialogue with the responsible authorities.

The multi-actor dialogue of 7 October, held at the Department of Sustainable Development with the participation of UNDP, enabled exchanges with national officials and the presentation of recommendations drawn from regional consultations and thematic networks’ work.

Biosphere reserves, national parks, wetlands, oases, mountains and forests: essential ecosystems that call for concrete solutions and collective commitment.

The Alliance stresses that civil society’s contribution goes beyond expressing an opinion: it rests on compiling scientific knowledge, field experience and advocacy for more participatory and effective environmental governance.
