After the regional meetings: the Alliance publishes its press release and civil note

The press release, titled “Environment and climate at the heart of the electoral debate: civil society questions the political parties”, presents the outcomes of the regional meetings together with the civil note “From the presence of environment and climate in programmes to their integration into the core of public decision-making”.

Both documents are the result of a national dynamic of dialogue and regional encounters covering water, agriculture and food security, the energy transition, the blue economy, climate justice, financing and the governance of public policy.

In these documents the Alliance stresses that environment and climate must become a structural dimension of public policy rather than an additional sector.

These documents provide a basis for monitoring the climate commitments announced by political parties.
